Very true. Right now I spend about an hour and a 45 minutes door to door in the morning, and up to three hours getting back on Friday nights. But if I could actually do something with that time, I wouldn’t mind taking a little longer in the morning.

It’s definitely a crapshoot but I’m my experience more reliable on the weekdays. There are patches of bad phone service, but at least when the train is stopped you can work on your laptop or read or do something on your phone instead of being in traffic. Ultimately it’s probably more reliable then rolling the dice with the traffic from driving.

Stitching up at Roastology this morning. Gotta take the dog out somewhere today. Maybe do some job search stuff but I don't feel like it.

The last train I took up there was on time but then got stuck behind another train for an hour. That being said, I feel like traffic can cause similar delays and looking at my phone is far superior to driving.

Workin a half day, then some errands while it's a lil warm out. Picked up Dead Space remake last night and eagerly awaiting night time to play again. It's fantastic so far.

no one goes to subway because it has the best subs. You go because it's cheap and convenient. They have that many stores because they are cheap to run and make money. The poster is correct in the sense that usually a non franchise won't open a second location unless they are making money at the first location, so yes they must be doing something right

In general the people telling you that you live in the hood usually have almost no idea what they’re talking about. Everyone who lives in the burbs and watched local news is under the impression everything not on Broad or in the Church Hill historic district is open air drug markets and running gang battles 24/7.

That said, stay away from the Facebook groups for Church Hill, just incredibly toxic. Also lock your shit up if it’s on your porch otherwise don’t expect it to still be there.
