I lived in an old house on N 19th (Fairmont) for two years as a single woman with two large dogs. There was a murder on my street in the second year and Joe Morrissey knocked on my door once. The trash on the streets was frustrating. But the drug dealers next door brought me my package when it was delivered to the wrong house. I made a point of speaking to my older neighbors who were all nice. I only went to the community grocery store once but it made me sad :/

On summer nights I would sit on my porch and watch the bats flying between the street lights.

I’ve definitely heard that it’s hit or miss—I’m sorry it didn’t help you . If I can get a 25-35% improvement in nausea from all procedures (also having a cholecystectomy at the same time), I’ll consider it a success. I’m just trying to a pile TPN, PPN, and tube feed supplementation at all costs as fluids through a central line are already enough for me. Good luck with your removal!

Who fixes it? Because the only people with authority to do that are clearly corrupt and malicious as all hell and they're not going to listen to public demands unless they are forced to. And even then, that's not corporation to fix things, that's a Mexican standoff.

They have to be removed from authority. And how do you remove them in a way you wouldn't categorize as "destructive"?

I just wonder what fucked this guy up enough that he spends what seems like his every waking minute going around town and standing in the elements to troll with a vulgar sign.

And he does all of this for Joe Biden, an incredibly bland and low-energy President who even most Democrats can’t find the energy to get excited about. Just pathetic loser vibes to this guy.

I worked on the Armstrong project over the course of two years. Not great build quality in general (but what is these days) and the general neighborhood is about as nice as one might expect from the proximity to Creighton. $1800/month townhomes across the street from an empty lot where homebums have garbage fires.

I don't agree with everything Jonathan Young does but he's absolutely correct here. If it wasn't for outside reporting the public wouldn't know the specific negligence of RPS facilities that led to the insurance company denying the claim.

It's not Young's fault RPS facilities Bobby Hathaway ignored the requests of his staff to fix the alarm issue and hung up on the deputy fire marshal who was trying to get a resolution.

All of that was uncovered by the press using FOIAs while RPS just bullshitted and pointed fingers.

I think it would make sense to tear down what little is left of the school and replace it with an up to date up to code modern facility. I think this would best serve the kids and teachers. But the Fan isnt a neighborhood so much as it is Historic Williamsburg type theme park for the very wealthy. And gosh do they like their old and quaint. So grab some popcorn or maybe a lot, and watch the incredible shit show of trying to build a modern facility inside that brick husk that remains, and which by the way is ugly.
