No she’s committed because she will actually respond to me when I reach out. I assume politicians have family who have benefited in some way (likely illegally and certainly immorally). I guess you and I have a different expectation. I expect 98% of politicians to be terrible, power/money hungry people who seek to exploit political office for their personal gain. My vote is all about who I think is the least terrible.

So does Korean Garden, I always pick up some hot chili oil and gochujang when I’m at either place.

Yeah it’s a midwest chain; my understanding is that some guy from richmond had it out there and liked it enough to bring it back here. It’s not life changing, but it’s probably the best fried chicken you can get in a fast casual environment. Potato wedges and sauces carry it over the line.

this happened to me yesterday. i dropped my water bottle cap on the street and was gonna begrudgingly leave it (it was a plastic bottle) bc i didnt want to get run over, but miraculously it landed on its back, and the car driving past didnt run it over, so i quickly went to grab it since the next car was a significant distance away. i was very clearly darting out into the road (though not very far) and they were close enough to see me so you’d think they’d slow down just in case since no one was behind them right? wrong. if i had been maybe 2 seconds slower they would have ran directly into me.

On a good, no-traffic, no-cops day, I could get there in 65 minutes. I don’t want to talk about the bad days.

Not in and around Richmond but closer than northern Virginia (NOVA). MARU in downtown Charlottesville is some of the best Korean I’ve had, period. It’s worth the drive. About an hour.
