I think I saw this on twitter - this is AMAZING.

It depends on the resources, though. If you can ensure that kids have 1. a regular breakfast, 2. a regular lunch, and 3. face time with positive role models you'll see improvements. All three of those things cost money.

Hispanic population in the city is WAY bigger than counted of course. It's not a group that is excited to go on govt paperwork for all sorts of reasons. And a slightly regrettable but understandable tendency to pack epic numbers of people into a house.

Tennessee has no income tax or stupid personal property tax.

ah, I moved here from up north and had to pay all that stuff generally. Exception was older/bigger buildings where they didn't have the tech/infrastructure to carve it out.

If you go in there and just get a burger and nothing else it shouldn't be too terribly bad... They're expensive, but the burgers actually are kind of good. Not quite worth what they cost, but worth trying at least.

I wouldn't necessarily call it anti-pedestrian so much as anti-anyone-who-isnt-me. Those drivers are also so aggressive to bikers and other drivers. It's selfishness and anger.

Always worth checking Kroger’s on sale meat bins. Once in a while they’ll heavily discount large containers of chicken breasts, great if you have freezer space.
