I’m gonna do the math on this this week and get back to you because I’m genuinely curious. My husbands new vehicle 2k per year in taxes. My 10 yr old vehicle 200$ per year in taxes- wondering if cost of said new vehicle can actually save me 1800 per year in gas at 8k miles Year year. Honestly I’m doubtful but want to do the math vs being a subjective skeptic.

Two parent households also help with all three of those according to data. No idea how we encourage that though, but I know I never see it talked about.

Honestly Richmond just doesn’t have that great of a barbecue scene. If you want good bbq you got to go down to North Carolina or Tennessee.

Good BBQ is super expensive everywhere and I don’t think ZZQ is anymore expensive than any other legit bbq spot. If they use quality meat and smoke for appropriate amount of time, it’s a ton of cost to cover.

Living in Richmond I would scoop my dog up whenever I crossed the street. I was almost hit by cars constantly when crossing streets on monument ave. Shit was insane. I feel like it was a lot of people only looking toward oncoming traffic when turning onto a street just because it was a one way.

Get rid of the one way streets. They are treated as highways. Make Cary go west and Main/Elwood go east. If it takes too long to cut through the city on your commute (boo hoo) then use the Downtown Expressway.
