They're about to make a killing selling that game to folks new to the story, I bet. Show is extremely high quality

My boyfriend and I have been meaning to start watching it as we've both played the game. Apparently the game is also coming to PC in late March so I will be 100% replaying it since I don't have a ps4 anymore

Sure. But all these people that live in a city are acting like they want to live in the middle of nowhere.
Any decent city is going to grow. If you don't like people don't live in a city.

A Rolex is a thing of beauty. My dad bought one while working overseas with the State Department. He was young and grew up desperately poor. He was given a stipend and his CO suggested he spend it on a Rolex since his food and lodging were all paid for. He had never heard of a Rolex. So he bought the Rolex having no idea what level of fine it was until years later. He was about 24 when he bought it and wore it every day until he died at 74. He took it off once while he was working in his vegetable garden and forgot where he’d left it. It was missing for a year. I was playing in the garden the next summer and spotted it sitting on a fence post. He was thrilled and it still worked perfectly. My brother now wears it daily. Edit: I hope you find one you love! May you wear it as long as my dear father did.

Yeah, it's weird. This was the most recent article I could find (from April 2022), and it sounded like they were poised to get things going, with most construction complete, and just the final design phase to be completed, then boom, silence for almost a year.
Every time I've asked any employee about when the Church Hill facility will open, they're just like 'in a few months'. 🤷♂️
Edit:. I dug around on the permit portal to see if that would shed any light on what's going on, but other than their building permit expiring in March 2023, there's not much relevant public info.

I think I’m broken, if I sit and try to find something to watch- I end up on golf network. But if my wife picks something, I get hooked.
We just finished the reality game show “the traitors” on Peacock. That’s kinda fun for both of us. She likes trashy tv, and I was entertained by the strategy or lack thereof.

The number of Xfinity boxes I see on peoples homes in this city is crazy, do people really not know that Fios is available? (and yes I know it's not available in every neighborhood). I pay $39.99/month for 150/150 but easily average well over 300 Mbps in both directions. My house has two people working from home and we never have any issues. I guess I should note that I'm in Church Hill North.

Richmond Superbike on Williamsburg Road off of Laburnum. Not the cheapest but they’ve always been super transparent with me about what they were doing and why. I wish my car mechanics were so open.

Severance is the absolute best. Very much anticipating its next season. Agreed too on The Lady of Us.

I thought I knew what was going to happen after the first two episodes were so close to the game.... instead got punched RIGHT in the feelings.

I can’t believe I waited so long to watch Barry. SO GOOD. Burned through all 3 seasons in a week and now I’m desperate for season 4. Such a great mix of suspense and comedy. Plus, I love Bill Hader. Why did I wait so long?
Other current obsession is The Last of Us. Episode 3 had me in tears.
Now I’m out of shows, so I’ll need y’all’s recommendations.

I don't think it's funding. Waukeshaw Development, the umbrella org that is owned by the same owners (Dave McCormack & co) as Beales, Trapezium, Demolition Coffee, and a bunch of other successful entities, have deep pockets. They are doing several development projects throughout Virginia, so maybe they're spread thin on a project management or manpower level.
I just emailed them at the address on that page. We'll see if they bother to get back to me with an informative answer.

I always get worried when there is so much time between seasons of a show as great as Severance. I think I’m still bitter from how Deadwood “ended”.

At least from Short Pump to the airport, with a north-south line as a bonus.

Truth: it’s been ages since I’ve watched a movie or show without multitasking. I think I enjoyed season 2 of Bridgeton, but I was also watching while scooting around on my ass painting my baseboards. I probably missed seeing actual asses.
One episode of Dirty Money I’ve watched multiple times is Drug Short. So good.

Currently streaming Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix. I remember when it came out I was in college and I thought - wow, I would’ve loved that as a kid. And then I never watched it because it was a kids show. I recently had the realization that I should just do what I want in life and be myself more, which led me to starting up watching it. Fantastic show!
