That's right. Pilot / Satellite taprooms have to brew at least 20% of what they serve on site as I understand it. The rest can come from their other taprooms. I recall seeing a post a while back of them moving for foeders into the space so I expect that will be their 20%. That's pretty much how they operate Camp Trapezium in Amherst County. They do some barrel aging there but majority of the stuff they sell comes from Petersburg.

Longoven has great cocktails too - though if you’re eating there be ready to drop some coin. Worth it when I went, but that’s a somewhat controversial opinion in this sub.

Spot on since some key people who made Saison’s cocktail program what it was went on to run the program at Brenner. Most of the bar staff at Brenner trained under them, and you can still get a few of the old Saison cocktails if you ask nicely (and if they have the ingredients handy).

As a former VCU student, ive crossed that spot countless times both while driving and walking to class. I can most definitely say that there have been times where cars were going way too fast in that area. I can also say, because I was guilty of it, that students are not always careful when crossing streets. When I was a student I was often distracted when crossing streets, more focused on trying to get from the engineering building to my next class across campus in a measly 10 minutes. However, if cars would just slow down, it would alleviate so many problems
