they have to climb 2 flights of stairs and walk across a piss filled bridge to go over two fucking lanes of traffic. two fucking lanes. and fuck disabled people amirite? they can be killed by cars. and the people with baby strollers, fuck children! and fuck peoples safety at night right? its their fault they got stabbed!

what if we, i don't know, made drivers go slower? oh but that would slightly inconvenience people in cars so that cant happen right? the mere thought of a pedestrian overpass as a solution is ridiculous and im willing to guess you've never actually been on one

Was in the car with my friend when he got into a hit and run accident on Cary and Belvidere. Called the non emergency line a couple times. We waited for over 4 hours, and NO ONE showed up. When we finally met with a cop the next day he told us Richmond PD is extremely understaffed and thats probably why no one showed up when we called the day before. Then he tried to recruit us to join the force...

Point being, im not sure if more traffic enforcement from cops is even feasible in Richmond.

Most recently used a company called Triangle Plumbing.

https://triangleplumbingservice.business.site/

Actual service was by a guy named Doug, who was super friendly and helpful. He actually called 30 minutes before arriving, was 10 minutes early, spent 30-40 minutes and multiple tries to get the scope through, explained what he found (patiently), and called my buyer client, who wasn't present, and re-explained the findings when I asked. I'm not sure they are a large company, but based on my experience, I would recommend them.

I know of (a friend of a friend) who had the misfortune of changing in his car for an after work run and got caught and prosecuted because there had been a series of car masturbators in the park recently.

The fact that he was a different race did not stop the prosecutor from trying to pin the whole string of incidents on him. He lost his security clearance at work as a result of his bad decision to do a quick change in a corner of the parking lot.

"In an emailed statement to CBS 6, Morrissey's office said the state Senator was at the jail attending to Senate business..."

I wonder if this is the same "Senate business" that he conducted when he tried to hit on my friend when she was an intern at the Capital and he was on work release. That was a resounding "No" on her behalf...

We've been in N Chesterfield for 15 years and love it. Near Bon Air/Huguenot/Robious. Good schools, great proximity to stuff and a short commute. We're in an older neighborhood with enough space from our neighbors, no HOA.

oh i dont fucking know, maybe try to make main st less of a death trap? maybe actually give a shit about pedestrians? maybe stop designing every single piece of asphalt in the country for the sole purpose of moving cars as fast as possible? oh but boo hoo the suburbanites would be mildly inconvenienced, so lets make main st 4 lanes wide and have the sidewalks floating above, then drivers won't have to interact with those p*destrians

I bought a used bike and I'm not really sure how this thing was maintained in the past. Surely i can do a regular maintenance, that's not an issue. Actually when i was doing it for the first time.on the bike i noticed few things which I'm not sure of. For instance: almost missing coolant:-). There are others but would like someone with good eyes and ears to tell me what piece of crap i paid money for ;-).

Drivers are not stopping when the lights are flashing red. This crosswalk down Broad St. was recently added, and it has been such a great addition. I feel somewhat safer walking in the evenings, because I don’t like walking under the bridge(near the slave burial ground), since it’s getting darker earlier. I’m so grateful this crosswalk was added—but at the same time, I’m always fearful to cross, because drivers are disregarding the flashing red lights when the pedestrians have the right of way. I wish they would add cameras to discourage folks from speeding through the lights, and potentially injuring someone.

Atmosphere actually facilitates conversation at the Verdant Lady, whereas the Jasper in the evening needs a volume adjustment. Owner of the Verdant Lady is mad cool too.

Virago has some great cocktails, as does Little Nickel. Nick @ McCormack's on Robinson is a consummate professional behind the bar. Cocktails at Sabai aren't bad at all.

For the true RVA feel you should probably stumble from Bamboo to 3 Monkeys before crawling to Strawberry Street Market and buying whatever you can reach before someone drags your corpse to Scuffletown to round off the night.

My current home is new construction from a decent builder. The realtor helping me sell my old house offered to represent me in the purchase of my new place. I thought he was just trying to make the fee, but he definitely earned it. He found items the builder and I both missed at every walk through. He made sure every option and upgrade I picked were actually installed in the house. I could have done all of this myself, but he saved me quite a bit of time and the builder seemed just a bit more responsive when my realtor was involved.
