I thought over 80 was reckless driving in VA? Idid get a lawyer to resolve an 81 in a 70 - reckless driving - near the NC/VA line. Think the lawyer was approx $400

Thanks! Do you remember if that affected your insurance rates at all or does the driving school allow the ticket to just be dismissed?

Our company gives us a certain amount of money for food and play every time we travel. It's up to us to divide it up. My team and I always agree to do one luxury meal, one or two local places, and mostly fast food or gas station food. $20 is about what we have left over per day to go out and do things. Not sure we can make it to the beach this trip, but that's a good idea.

i'm a big fan of all the vegan options at Cobra Cabana. never had a bad meal there and the waitstaff and bartenders are rad. Fuzzy Cactus has some damn good vegan options, but check their hours. they also have three pinball machines you can play (Metallica, Stern's new Jurassic Park, and Dead Pool). i believe Lewis Ginter has a bonsai thing going on still. Wax Moon is pretty rad (although sometimes their pinball machines aren't in the greatest working order, but still fun - same with Dawnstar). i don't know how spendy that Hotel Greene place is, but i hear it's fun. oh, and it's on the southside but there's a gaming cafe you can check out too: https://unpluggedrva.com/

Not a lawyer. Is it speeding or reckless driving? If reckless driving, I’d be sure to get an attorney because it’s a misdemeanor that carries the (unlikely) possibility of jail time and/or a big fine. From what I’ve heard, it’s likely to cost you a few hundred to $1000, but others may have a better perspective on that. What folks have said about asking for driving school is solid advice regardless of whether it’s reckless or just a regular speeding ticket.

So, I’m not legal expert, but here’s my take: I’ve had a couple of tickets in the past. If it’s just a speeding ticket, I just went to court with no lawyer. Especially for first offenses, the judge will usually let you go with driving school. You’ll pay the court fees and then for driving school.

It’s been a while for me though. I had a heavy foot when I was younger. Others might say it’s best to lawyer up, but that’s my experience.

i tried it last year. as a non-vegan who appreciates veganism and is trying to eat more whole food plant based, it wasn't for me. it's very geared towards faux meat, so for actual vegans who have that craving, it might be great. also it's quite expensive.
