if someone throws themselves in front of a train would you consider a warning poster a threat of assault? same thing here. People in this city have a death wish, and most motorists are just trying to avoid them.

Its a little pricier, but the birthday parties at some of the rock climbing places are quite amazing.

Generally (in my experience) police reports aren’t available the same day. You can contact the officers that helped you later this week to find out more, that is if they don’t contact you first to ask you questions.

I don’t think Richmond qualifies as a “college town” unless we’ve changed the definition to include a capital city that happens to have a college in it.
Charlottesville fits the bill because UVA and the town are almost synonymous; I don’t think that applies here, even while acknowledging that VCU has bought up a decent portion of part of the city.
I have a feeling this thread isn’t really going to include the types of places that the original tweet was defining and will be mostly places that people find fit the first four adjectives.

Amazingly, that has been the case for the 30 years I’ve lived in RVA.

That’s not the one by the VCU hospital is it? I’ve only been once but they had the best gravy I’ve ever had, period. Rest of the meal was good too.

If you don't have one already, get a dash cam. They're very useful in the event you do hit someone that fails to yield the right of way, or hits you due to their own neglect, especially the way folks love to ignore the traffic laws in this city...

Richmond doesn’t have an electronic police report request system. You have to go down to the precinct and request a printed copy of the report in person, and will have to pay a small fee. They will need info to look it up like address, date, name(s) of people involved, etc. the best option is to have the police report # from the officer that responded to the call.
I went downtown once with the report # that the police officer gave on a business card, and they still had trouble finding it. Eventually they found it though. Good luck.
