Securis has several locations and does a monthly drop-off e-recycling event.
I dropped off an above-the-range microwave at their Glazebrook Ave. location (off Hermitage and Staples Mill across from Lidl) two Saturdays ago. You just drive up and they take it out of your car for you. Easy!

Perched pics aren't that hard to get - challenge is mostly getting on their level.
Bird-in-flight is more difficult, but autofocus took a huge leap forward with the newer mirrorless bodies.

If you don’t do something for an extended period of time, that person will own that 5-8 feet of your property.

Usually yes, but it’s often up to the surveyor or home owner to send the gis data to the gis department of the county/city. It really depends on the jurisdiction. Source: have been the gis manager for local jurisdictions in the past.

I’m on the consultant side so don’t know all the inner workings. I would guess not and that it’s a matter of manpower to process them all. I mostly see boundaries adjusted when parcels are split or right of way is acquired. Looking at the project I have up now, GIS boundaries of some right of way that was acquired within the last 10 years is within 3” of what our survey shows. Right of way that was established in the 50s varies in accuracy, could be dead on or it could be 5’ offset. Skimming through the property boundaries most are pretty close but might be a few feet off. Probably a third have at least one boundary that is 10+ feet from where our survey says it should be including several from a development that was split in the 90s.

If it were my kid, I would want the death penalty. Which is why victim families shouldn't determine sentences. The amount of time which is appropriate is the amount of time that prevents the most child sexual abuse.
There is research that shows what risk factors lead to higher potential for abuse. The laws and sentencing have almost no relationship with those factors.
Throwing the book at these dudes is easy because they are unsympathetic and it allows people to pat themselves on the back for their self-righteousness. It makes us feel good about ourselves like we did something.
People are stuck on their feels. If I say the punishment for CSAM non-production crimes are too harsh, then I must secretly be a pedophile. But how many times have we also seen it that the people who are most self-righteous and draconian against some behavior end up being the ones who are secretly doing it? Attacking the messenger is stupid.
If I bring up any sort of argument, I get told it's a "fact" that CSAM consumption is different and cannot be compared to anything else. Which is not a fact at all, it's just people refusing to think.
We can study child porn like we study anything else. P2P and Drop Box work the same whether it's CSAM or Game of Thrones. Psychologists can study pedophilia just like they study anything else. There are basic behavioral drives all humans have in common.
There is research on this topic, and experts who study it. The evidence is more and more showing that the way we are dealing with CSAM does nothing to stop child sexual abuse and is more likely making it worse.

Have you tried Harvey & Driggs? I work for a homebuilder and we had this exact issue with a neighbor. Built a fence through the driveway so we couldn’t access the property to build.

In my case I finally reached out to the city councilman's office for the district I work in (I lived in Henrico) and he put my in contact with the mayor's office. I ended up exchanging emails with what appeared to be some fairly high up folks and then the head of DPU herself. And that's when it finally got resolved. Had it not been I was about to go to the news media and had I found it sooner I also would have filed a complaint with the SCC:

Might be something to consider in your case.
By comparison, when I called Henrico DPU to close out my trash/water/sewer I made one phone call. They sent me a final bill, I paid said final bill, and never heard another word from them.

Concur. Make a record of communication between you and the neighbor that can be used as evidence if this ever goes to court.

Clean Earth in Lakeside is another company, it looks like they do residential drop-off every 2nd Friday of the month. Next would be March 10th.
