this is a Democratic Party primary, so it's up to the Democrats to pick wherever - it's their game.

It could be the democrats are trying to suppress voters, and that was alleged last election by McClellan's opponents. But the Party just claims this is all it has the money and organizational power to do.

They have a better excuse in this case, 5 places in a senate district isn't nuts. But it's politics, so there might be subtle Democratic party shenanigans too

Yes... kind of. You have to record the survey with the Clerk of the Circuit Court in your locality. At that point the wheels of bureaucracy start turning (very slowly) and eventually it will trickle down to the GIS dept. You can grease the wheels by sending them a recorded copy of your survey/plat with the recording information but they are not obligated to update it faster. Hope this helps!

I don't think a ton of people are traveling to Richmond, staying in hotels, going to restaurants because of the Squirrels. It's mostly people from the surrounding counties (whose tax dollars wouldn't be going to the team) and they eat at the stadium and go home afterwards. That piece of land is being developed no matter what, it's right next to Scott's Addition and is a very obviously underutilized piece of real estate. They're calling it the diamond district for marketing, but it could be called anything and developers would be drooling over it.

The city did not come to an agreement with a single McDonald's to maintain a specific standard of operating, but they did however come to that agreement with the SF Giants when they agreed for their affiliate team to play here. I'm arguing that the city should pay for the fees they agreed to pay for, while agreeing with your hypothetical unrelated point about public schools at the same time.

Moreover, the diamond and our baseball team are a significant driver of tourism and revenue for the city that warrants reinvestment. Why would they be actively planning to redevelop that entire area as "the diamond district" if it was not. The flying squirrels are arguably one of the most popular minor league teams, leading the league in overall attendance season after season. It would objectively be a horrible decision to lose them by not investing money that the city already knew it would have to invest.

Word. I've run into a lot of people over the years that didn't realize this type of thing existed, and if they had something with a fan blowing air through ductwork it automatically meant they had a standard HVAC system.

The only things I can suggest you do is to make sure your air filter is good, and if you can look at the indoor coil of your AC system to make sure it isn't clogged with crap (it being an apartment, it wouldn't' surprise me if it was) as well as the coils on the outdoor unit. If the filter is replaced regularly, the indoor coil should be fine, but if it isn't, pictures of the dirty coil will give maintenance an idea of what they need to do, and give you more evidence that something needs to be done. One thing I have noticed is the coils on the condenser unit outside tends to be neglected by everyone, from homeowners to businessowners, but they should be cleaned periodically (once a year) as pollen, dust, tree and other plant debris, etc. can coat and clog up the fins, making the units rather inefficient. I hit mine up every year after the tree pollen is done with simple green, let it soak for 15 minutes, and then hit it with a hose from the inside out, but if you have access to the outdoor unit and "accidently" spray it with simple green and let the rain wash it off, it might help some if it's really dirty. Just don't tell maintenance that you've done anything like that as they'll blame you for something, since management companies just seem to be like that...

I wish you luck in this fight for proper climate control...
