i mean most of the staff for the place is behind the bar. so if you're inclined to go again, i suggest ordering food when ordering drinks and order at the bar. someone from the kitchen will bring food out (or the bar tenders will) i go there quite often and never really had a hard time.

Reply to comment by PercyDovetonsils in MLB-required upgrades to The Diamond could cost city $3.5M by PercyDovetonsils
Completely agree, if private individuals want to fund a baseball diamond then great. I very much doubt the flying squirrels contribute $3.5 million to the city in the same timeframe. This money could be better spent on our parks but Redditors love their baseball. I mean we have a park that's almost completely inaccessible now because it needs a new bridge and we are throwing this money into something soon to be demolished.

I had dinner at celladora last week. Amazing food - fantastic dips and small plates, and the bahn mi fried rice was delicious, even with me avoiding the pork sausage.
Only criticism was that I didn’t like the wine, but I also don’t like wine, so joke’s on me.

Speaking of the bachelorette party vibe. I thought we in RVA were going to get one of those pedal pubs, did that ever happen?

Handmade paper roses make the perfect personalized gift idea for birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations. Customize your flowers with any song lyrics or text (wedding vows, poems, etc.) that hold special meaning to you or a loved one. The paper flower bouquet pictured was created from quotes from my favorite book and printed on cardstock and transformed into a dozen beautiful roses. Choose a memorable lyric or passage to highlight for the bow-tied card.
$30 and generally available in 2 days from order. Message me to order :)

Yeah I’m coming in from the west. I’m leery of parking in Willow Lawn proper due to their no parking towing signs. Does that actually happen?

Which direction are you coming from? I think you could park at Willow Lawn if you’re coming from that side.

You may have some luck at Walmart, I saw a few cases of the unflavored glass there.

The Broad St. Costco has it now! I saw it there last week. It is in the normal bottled water section.

Bubba's has some small county shows. And it's the perfect bar for that, with sort of a Hank Williams Jr kind of vibe, but it's not for everybody, and the non-smoking section is the size of a restaurant booth.

Got my hands on the chicken and waffles pizza from Zorch. I was surprised at how good it was, not because of Zorch, but because it’s a rather novel idea lol. Will be back whenever they make it again.

Smart that you found them (and cheaper than having a surveyor do it.)
The surveyors exposed our steel marker posts where they could (one was either not present or not accessible) and tied pink tape and put little flags next to them. In one case the marker is at the base of a tree, partially embedded in the roots, 6" below the surface, but they found it.
I never knew about the steel pin thing until I read a thread on here where someone described them. It's a really good thing to know!

Suprised to find out this ABC outsells every other in the region, even the big boujee one in the west end.
