When I looked up Perlys on Google and expanded their hours, it listed Saturday through Tuesday as closed and said, "updated by business 5 days ago." Thanks for the heads up, though. I'll give them a call tomorrow and hope they are actually open !
Edit - looking at their socials now, I don't see any posts since last year...getting a little nervous again but still holding out hope for both of us to get latkes this weekend

What about the guy? I’m pretty sure the man who used to live in it had bounced between MCV area and Lombardy Kroger. He would bike around in the mornings and I would always see him when I walked to work.

Unfortunately this is probably as close as you’ll get if you’re trying to stay completely free OP

Went to Southbound for happy hour and was pleasantly surprised. It was busy and full of fancy old people, but the bar was nice and the homemade pasta is delicious.
Then we saw Cocaine Bear. That bear loved her some cocaine. She was still adorable.

I hope El Pope is ok. The owner just opened up another place nearby (The Nest) and maybe they're having a hard time balancing the two.

The cops checked out in 2020, they're not coming back anytime soon.

I think you missed the point. I believe the suspect is known and there is no danger to the public from people who were involved.
I just want the RPD to make a statement, not just in this case, but in all cases where they know that the suspect is no longer a risk to the public. Shit, they didn’t even say whether or not suspects were at large with respect to several murders over the past few weeks. Is it so difficult to say, “The suspect is <known/unknown> and/or <at large/apprehended>”?!?
I’ll make it a Google form that any officer can fill out in 15 seconds.

If they’re kittens, sounds like they are, both you and the felines will be happier with two. Kittens have SO MUCH energy and they’ll be destructive if they’re bored. A friend will keep them from driving you crazy :)

This is just RVA.
Half our murders (or so) go unsolved, every year. Which means there are 1000's of murderers in a city of 200,000. Obviously taking some liberties, but you get the idea.
