Sure. There's nothing but the preponderance of evidence.

Read this article when it came out, there is nothing definitive in it, just says they aren’t sticking to the original plan.
I’m not saying they WON’T go there, I’m just saying nothing is official and it’s the latest water cooler gossip for the state employees working downtown

I’ve owed a minimal amount the last two years. I adjusted my withholding a bit, to get as close to zero as possible, and am getting $260 back. So maybe?

You are going to need significant (minimum 15-20k) increases in all school employee salaries just for them to be somewhat competitive. The brain drain is real. I know many current teachers who are on their way out and someone told me the other day that Henrico had lost a huge number of custodial and maintenance workers over the last year to both the private sector and other places paying much higher salaries. I have worked with a bunch of teachers who are looking to buy a home and single teachers are being effectively priced out of most markets in the area. This along with all of the other work condition issues is leading us to a true crisis that I don’t think enough people are talking about. There is literally no one waiting to replace them. As a parent with young kids, I am extremely scared for what education will look like over the next 10 years.

As someone who regularly has moved oversized loads down the back roads of this community, the bikes are a giant pain in the butt, and the majority of the time the cyclist are not proactive for their own safety, thats why I say the bike path is near by, it was created to be a safe place for them to ride and to actually go somewhere. If the option to ride safely isnt at the top of your mind, you are the problem! I said it Im sure I will be downvoted past hell and out the other side of the earth, but you havent ever heard of a automobile driver run over by a bicyclist and injured. Be proactive, be safe, I know no one that wants to be in accident much less with a bicycle

Why are they "hitting you up for information"?
If you should know more about this situation than most people, you've left that out. Why would people be asking YOU for information about this?

Nah. Governor’s staff already has some pretty swanky offices. I don’t see them moving. Not with there being a priority to empty the James Monroe Building

The building is going to be split between legislative and executive branch agencies. The only “for sure” I’ve hear is capital police but that could change with the new study they are doing to consolidate offices.
Latest I heard is that smaller (less than 100 staff) agencies that have a priority for being downtown (ie, interacts frequently with governor’s offices or other agencies like VDOT, Health, DMAS) will go there. I’ve heard potential for OSIG and APA going there. Probably some of the year round legislative staff.

Maybe it's the brick buildings or the street grid.
