Dang, wish I had known about their soft open before I went and got a pizza from Arianna's. But on the plus side I'll have plenty of opportunities in the future to get stuff from Revel, and whoever made the dough and pizza tonight at Arianna's did a fantastic job as that was the best one I've had from there yet...

Worst thing about the airport is the tiny flimsy paper towels in the restrooms. Other than that as other have said it's the lack of food options, especially in the early morning and evenings. Otherwise it's one of my favorites, and I fly 60+ times a year so I know a thing or two about awful airports (looking at you O'Hare and JFK)

I’d ask people on the internet bad things about DFW. RIC is a fairly good airport from what I’ve heard.

This happened to my dad. Thief stole tools out of his truck, then he replaced them all and they got stolen again.

He can't afford tools anymore and is struggling financially along with mom.

Don't make the same mistake - keep the tools somewhere else

My mom's in a different state, but she's so beyond ready to retire in the next few years. It's incredible how badly screwed over teachers have been and especially in the last few years since the pandemic started and then admin/school boards/districts/legislators are feigning surprise at dwindling performance and staff levels. It's such a joke.

Got less back from federal and lot more back from the state so it all evened out.

My partner and I were also able to get in for the soft opening! I found out it’s the same owners as Julep’s, so the expectations were high to begin with. We were seriously impressed with how creative the menu was. Great date night spot because everything is truly meant to be shared.

I got 150ish back from the state. 10ish back from th4 feds..

So a bit more than expected from the state, but not particularly higher than usual

Not a store but we also have conventions like Galaxycon that have vendors with all kinds of anime/gaming merchandise. It usually happens in March.

Don’t mess with RIC. I get up at 9 for my my 10:30 am flight and I still have time for a coffee. They are doing their best. The airlines are the ones to blame.

Probably because there are up to four people in one piece of fire equipment and only one or two in a police car.

Also, the fire department gives full response to apartment and highrise calls and has to have the staff available.

What do you charge?

Ours was 12:30-2 and that was a long stretch for my early riser. Some do 12:30 but many do seem to do 1.

No recs because I haven’t seen any openings in the 15 places I’ve called.

Actually, RIC is an excellent airport. The only thing I can complain about is it doesn’t have restaurants and shops like busier airports. The restaurants don’t stay open. It is very clean and one of the nicest for disabled as far as assistance. I prefer Richmond over Dulles any day. If you want a bad airport, write about Dulles.

I would kill for more support staff. Real support staff. Nurses, social workers, behavioral therapist, etc. I don't need a "mentor" I need boots on ground support.

I think that RIC has a really long runway and I'm not sure how many turnoffs there are to the taxiway.
