Don't know about felonies, and I am not even sure if it still exists, but Campaign Virginia (an environmental lobby group) used to hire formally incarcerated people. So possibly, look into grassroots groups that campaign for donations.

Another article: https://richmond.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/richmond-police-shoot-suspect-in-womans-death/article_f8567986-cfe2-11ed-8498-3fe608d93230.html#tracking-source=home-top-story

Still scant on details,

>Officials did not say what prompted the officers to shoot the man. A firearm was recovered from the suspect, police said.

...

>The atmosphere on North Avenue was tense as neighbors gathered at the edges of yellow police tape. Inside the police tape, officer Keith Robinson said the area still was not safe, gesturing to a small crowd of onlookers.

>"They're not happy with us," Robinson said. "They never are after a shooting."

Important to remember this happened in a neighborhood. Innocent bystanders could have been injured

Loved central. Also note they had a yearly programming fee of like $600 or thereabouts but you could work that down by volunteering for events and stuff like doing laundry over the weekend. It’s a great community I highly recommend. I’d have my second going there, like my first, if our current daycare wasn’t significantly closer now that we don’t live downtown anymore.

Does the Tommy's carwash guy hire felons? He's on here a bunch, seems like a real good dude. I think a decent percentage of his staff are from Reddit

Well... I had my hair bleached at the salon. I didn't like the color so I just kept playing with it, used permanent and semi permanent colors. It's a mess now of many colors and also my dark roots. I'm hoping to just go back to brown and chop the damage off but I need someone who can make it look okay again.

>At 11:09 a.m., officers on the 4200 block of North Avenue — who had been given a description of the suspect and his vehicle — saw his car and exited their vehicles. Edwards said the two officers fired at the man “within a second or two” of exiting their cruiser. The suspect was struck and injured by the gunfire.

Eek. I hope more information is published soon

Hell son good money in construction and I’ve worked with plenty of felons. Sure there will be places you can’t go to work because of background checks. Search for civil contractors around Richmond. They pay ya to learn

Lots of factories/industrial stuff on the east side near the airport. I would call every one and see if they would consider you.

Co-sign on the emailing of your council person. I was in the same boat as you and emailed mine and they sent it directly to the finance director who handled it for me personally. When they fucked it up again the next year all I had to do was re-reply to the chain and say “hey it happened again” and it got taken care of quickly.
