I've been continuously frustrated by public transit in Richmond since moving here.

Generally, it's easier/faster for me to ride my bike than take the buses, but my kids can't ride along as far as I can go, so with them I'm stuck on the buses or stuck in my neighborhood. It's routinely depressing.

+1 for sure. Dr Hong is awesome, he actually remembers you, I go every 5-7 years for contact and eyeglass prescriptions and he genuinely remembers our last conversations! super knowledgeable and professional. I think exams for contact lenses are less than 100 without any insurance.

edit to say: you don't need a costco membership to get appt. they are separate

Hard to say exactly, but the food is sweeter and not as rich with flavor and spices as Chinese food should be. Whenever me and my Chinese friends went we were always a tad disappointed.

More importantly, however, is that Chengdu has really tasty authentic food - worth a visit at the very least
