A lot of sales idiots do make 6 figures, but it usually is either people who have been in their position long enough to have tons of referrals, or SaaS or medical device sales. I personally know people making 200K or more a year in sales

That said, yeah a lot of people will throw out 6 figures in the interview to bait naive people into taking the job when realistically newbies will starve to death before they make 6 figures in a 100% commission based job

Going to New Kent, the in-laws are hosting as they always do. Mother in law spends all day in the kitchen even tho we tell her to chill out. Turkey usually overcooked despite all the attention. The pies will be bland and sugar-less to appease my father in law who hates dessert, she feels one day he'll somehow become a different human lol. I'm bringing a couple of my own pies this time. Hickory Farms for lunch while we watch the Lions lose. I rarely see my Dad and brother even tho they live 10 minutes away, so looking forward to just hanging out.

Almost forgot: watching Planes Trains and Automobiles Wed night. Never miss a year! And getting Christmas tree on Fri from out near Lake Anna. Have a nice lunch in some middle of the nowhere place. Feels good to get out of town for a bit.

The Olive Oil Taproom in midlothian is the place to go If you need gifts.

https://theoliveoiltaproom.com/

Its a Virginia based company, family owned with over 100 extra virgin olive oils & balsamic vinegars. They have local pasta brands, local hot sauces and local bloody mary mixes. The staff is helpful and they ship all over the US!

Lastly the employees can “Pair” an oil and vinegar to match whoever you are gifting to. Someone likes authentic Italian, they have a pairing. Someone likes french cuisine, they have a pairing. Someone wants authentic truffle oil then yes they have it. Please consider them for holiday gifts!
