Exactly. The same way the virtue signalers in Hollywood and the NBA are silent about China.

Like most virtue signaling institutions. The men's soccer team were so proud to wear their patches, but then folded like cowards when it really mattered.

Their stance has always been to say quiet and rake in that sweet government money. It is not like Qatar had a sudden change in opinion or policy here. It has always been this way.

Qatar has had a LONG history of human rights issues and VCU has never said anything. It’s so disappointing.

I've now had it three times. It's endemic and just another virus. The numbers are irrelevant given the proliferation of take home tests. My kid has the common cold and it's kicking his but. He's been down for 5 days with terrible sore throat and congestion.

I caught it for the first time also and it was pretty mild. My friend caught it in October and was in the hospital for a bit but was discharged. Ended up developing pneumonia and she passed away yesterday. She was in her mid 30s with no health conditions.

If you’re on Facebook, Behavior Euthanasia - decision and support is a very helpful community with others in this situation to provide support and resources. I found this group while helping a family member who’s pup was repeatedly savagely attacking and injuring her (level 5 on the Dunbar Bite Scale. We felt so alone in the struggle to care for, and try to help, train, this pup. We also tried everything to find a perfect sanctuary (people call it an”unicorn” place because they are so hard to find, if at all) for this pup, but it just wasn’t out there.
Some advice you will probably get is to find a vet behaviorist (not a trainer). They are expensive and it can be hard to find someone local, but they can offer valuable guidance and can prescribe meds.

He said the pandemic was over. Which it is. Covid is endemic now.

This is a tragic situation. By law, your dog would likely be deemed "dangerous" by the courts with many parameters for keeping it away from people or other animals it could harm. Family member is in local animal control and you won't find a rescue or resource to work with the dog...killing another animal is a no go. Ask your vet what is the best case scenario for this animal if you cannot keep it controlled/confined to ensure the safety of humans or animals around it.

You can’t even report when you have it and test positive on a home test. Or I couldn’t when I had it

They can put them on daily meds that might help

No problem! I did a single month membership before I joined to make sure I liked it, and then signed up for the year, which gives a discount over the monthly. I can’t recommend it enough. Place is super clean and they have classes baked into the cost of membership. Best gym I’ve been to by a longshot.

The only thing they will offer is as needed, and it is to knock her out for a bit. It is not a long term option I don’t think? I will call Monday and ask if there is another medication option if I can’t make headway this weekend, thanks!

I was told that the vaccination rate was low, could be a cause. And yes, very few are masking and EVERYTHING is open to the masses. I have yet to have it. 🤞

I got Covid for the first time and had I not known I had been around people who were positive I would have thought it was sinuses or allergies. I started a hybrid schedule at work 3 months ago and got it from my coworkers.

It really feels like you can’t put any stock in the official numbers anymore. I and everyone I know got covid in August when the state and city numbers were flat. Also no one reports when they have it, so almost all cases go unnoticed.

BIG THIS. Remember when John Cena had to walk back statements bc there were concerns it could impact China box office sales?
