How are the gym + amenities at the VCU gym compared to the Franklin YMCA? I go to the YMCA and the gym is a little underwhelming, but I enjoy the occasional sauna visit as well as using their table tennis room and basketball courts. Pics of the VCU gym make it seem wayyyy nicer...

I have a friend who uses an e collar with their dog and it’s helped immensely. It looked like euthanasia was going to be the only option for the dog prior with it’s issues. The e-collar combined with meds and dental work has made their dog safe to be around other animals and select people.

When I was young and naive, I attended a party with my now ex husband and was chatting with some of the other young women. I noted how thin they all were and asked what they did to stay so thin. They told me they were dancers. In my excitement I told them I had a friend who dances for Richmond Ballet. I inquired where they danced, turns out they were all strippers and I probably didn’t want to use their methods to stay thin

My dad and I started doing Second Thanksgiving when I was in high school, and I’d recommend it to everybody. All of the food you like, none of the extended family nonsense you don’t!

Went to friends for Thanksgiving so cooking my turkey today for lunches next week. Gonna make some pot pies.

Everything we cooked for Thanksgiving came out fantastic and we have spent the past 2 days widdling away at that. Mom/Nona got us season passes to Busch Gardens/Water Country to avoid having to buy a ton of gifts so we will hit up Christmas Town today and I’m super stoked on that!!

The family Thanksgiving knocked it all out actually, but we did a private household second meal on Friday of just a stupid gluttonous feast of our favorite foods. Duck breast, lobster tails, mashed potato/parsnips, roasted carrots, cocktail shrimp ring, mulled wine...

I've never been lucky reheating mashed potatoes for some reason. I always just make potato cakes out of them.
