People watching gets especially good this time of year.

The only time I've experienced that was the last slaughterama. There were so many people going back and forth it was swaying constantly. Couldnt walk straight when I got off for a bit. Was there an abnormally large amount of people on it?

Holidays can be especially lonely. You can always DM me if you feel the need to chat.
I kinda want a robe, now.

I grew up here and never went to Lewis Ginter for some reason, but a visit to the lights at least once is a must for us now.

It’s Belle Isle not Belle Island

This is my first Holiday season in RVA. It's kinda lonely to be honest.
Loving the rain though, gives me a reason to keep my robe on all day.

Not really but the grand illumination in Colonial Williamsburg is Dickensian in ways and worth the trip

Not even remotely a secret, but I like the tacky light tours. Lots of cool houses in the area. Although my favorite was always the one on Laburnum that synced their lights to music but I guess they don’t do it anymore?

We’re there loud engines going on at the same time? Could be the group on dirt bikes and ATVs doing stunts.

Probably better off just saving your money on the mug club and becoming a regular at one of the breweries.

Pre-Covid, fire stations let you schedule tours for free. You had to keep in mind that they might have to leave at any time...

It was on Belle island. Not Browns island.

Not really a mug club but best deal IMO. For only $20/mth you get a 4pk and a 6pk each month and if you pickup on member pick up days (2nd Monday of the month) you get 3 pint cards/mth for a free beer to use anytime at any location. Pre-pay for 6mths and you get 5 pint cards/mth. The cans themselves pay for it so the pint cards are an added $20-$30+/month value. They even have a shipping option. https://threenotchdbrewing.com/collections/fresh-beer-club-club
EDIT: The beers listed in the link above ('Singel Bells' 12oz/6pk and 'Thicc Mint' 16oz/4pk) are the Dec. cans that will be ready for pickup beginning Monday Dec. 12th.

They just had a soft reopening. That old dirty couch ain’t going anywhere, thats where Billy gets all the money back that the strippers make in a night.

We've been on it once when it was moving all over the place. We figured it was a combo of the wind and we heard a lot of trucks overhead. Ended up getting off our bikes to walk them over because it was too sketch.
