Not a location suggestion, but if you find a solid spot, but their coffee is weak/thin and lacking flavor. Pack some quality instant coffee powder (One of the Perks from Kroger is good enough for me), and stir a ~teaspoon of it into the coffee. It makes a robust coffee.

If you want to avoid getting too wired, use decaf instant coffee.

I always do this on airplanes, or at home when I’m tired but don’t want to drink more than a cup.

My dude, I literally handed you a refutation on a silver platter. Look at the wikipedia link. All you have to do is scroll down, there's a column for breed. Anyone with MS Paint can make a bar graph, it is just not a source. The source on yours, Animals 24-7, looks like an alarmist publication, go to their website and the literal first story is "“We can’t live like this in a world where dogs eat children”. Come the fuck on.

Here's one issue with relying on media reports as a source: dog breeds are highly likely to be misclassified. If a boxer attacks someone and a bystander thinks it was a pitbull, that is going to get reported as a pitbull attack. The CDC stopped collecting dog breed information in bite statistics because it is so difficult to accurately classify.

I was reading up on some of them recently to go with a friend, since I haven't been to one since 2019 or maybe earlier, and the recent reviews were really bad for several. I didn't cover all the buffets out there, but the ones I saw had lots of recent reviews about cold food, half the spots on the bar being empty, mostly only having fried foods, etc. One place had only 1 star reviews the past several months despite having fine enough reviews (for a cheap buffet) previously.

Weirded me out about going to one for a while. I imagine their price/profit economics are all screwed up right now.

I disagree with this dude's stance, vehemently. I am very pro-choice and so far left that I hate Biden, too (just for different reasons). But I'm glad he's free to voice his opinion. It is constant fodder for my laughter.

He was posting YouTube vids yesterday of himself going around and telling local hotels about their "illegal" signs on the sidewalk (according to city ordinance, all sidewalk signs must be approved by city manager so the signs are unlawful, not illegal).

The sad part is, I feel for him because he's only doing more of this stuff to because people keep calling the police to try and make him stop exercising his first amendment. If people would just ignore him, he'd likely go away.

I don't know how I feel about it, but this makes some sense.

What are the chances Richmond voters actually vote for a nuts and bolts, fix the potholes and build bus shelters mayor though? We are more likely to get some form of Stephanie lynch or whatshername, the woman who ran against Stoney from the left last time, with no experience managing anything
