There's Country style donuts. It's open 24 hours T - Sat, I think. I rarely see folks sitting there whenever I go so I can't imagine they would be that upset if you bought a coffee and donut and sat and worked.

I agree with you, and when I tell that to other christians I am known as the "fake one" all I do is shrug and move on, just like Paul did in Acts.

On this subject does anyone know what happened to the woman who ran the Caribbean Grill cart at Cary & 10th? She had the best jerk chicken and plantains I’ve ever had.

I came here because I saw a guy in a BMW that was texting and driving. He stopped in the middle of an intersection (despite a "do not block intersection" sign that was right in front of him), had on his right turn signal (was in the left turn lane and made a left turn), swerved into the left thru lane in the process of making his left turn, then veered into the right lane before correcting back into the left lane, with his right turn blinker still going. As I was passing, I took a peek and sure enough, texting away like there wasn't anything more important to do (like paying attention to his driving). I honked my horn and that seemed to startle him but his driving improved drastically after that.

As a reformed New Yorker I miss the 24 hour diner.

I’ve been playing with making chocolate so I wanted to check and see if they had any of that type of stuff. Nothing fancy, but like molds or a bench scraper that’s larger than my little oxo one, that kind of thing. I know I could probably get it on Amazon but sometimes it’s fun to just see what’s around.

It's definitely walkable and there are benches spaced out periodically if you need to sit and take a break. But it definitely gets very crowded so you'll want to do a weekday when they first open.
