Urban One spent over a million dollars spreading lies to Richmonders about the benefits of their development. They probably spent a similar amount getting local officials on board.

Would love for development contracts to be tied to things like this. My guess that it’s effectiveness would be limited because not everyone would do it. Developers would just go elsewhere. I would love to be proven wrong though.
