Yeah, if he’s needed injectable sedation in the past I can’t guarantee anything, but I’m more than happy to give things a try - feel free to message me!

@OP if you can afford to pay $70ish per month for now, try Dandelion Health. It’s a direct primary care practice, but will be able to see you same day or next day until you get in with a place that accepts your insurance. ALSO, I suggest you try pursuing a new PCP office. 4 months wait time in not normal. And thety sound too rigid. This is coming from someone who works in healthcare

He has a anxiety prescription for these cases! We typically go to the vet to get his nails done and they give him a sedative shot along with the oral medication we give him beforehand. He really hates going to the vet though so I didn’t know if an in home session would be easier for him/us, ya know minus the sedative shot.

I came across this thread and that news post at roughly same time. They're related but not directly. Between governments (including ours) being afraid of China spying through TikTok and it's deleterious effect on our youth, it's hard to avoid talking about social media when discussing mental health. You really can't disconnect the two in this age, and Instagram is just as big a factor here as the 'Tok. I feel for kids growing up now wherein your presence on social media is expected.

But Fat Dragon has the best dumplings! I don't order anything else there, but I'll order their dumplings and save the sauce to make my own spicy ramen. So good.

I’d recommend asking your veterinarian to prescribe a good calming medication/sedative that you can pick up to give at home, and then I’d be happy to try. No sense in going into something without chemical assistance if we know he already hates it. I have a weakness for Shibas even though I haven’t worked with a single one that hasn’t screamed like a parrot for nail trims 😂

It varies a little depending on where you live - but typically about $30 for the first dog and then $20 each after that (if you have multiple pups). If you message me your address, I can give you a more exact quote.
