Why do you guys have such expensive water? When I lived in Albuquerque NM it was pretty expensive but it being a dessert and the constant droughts made sense. Does Henrico pay less or is it all under the city?

I appreciate the help. I'm not sure about the energy efficiency quite yet. My current home we use around 450 to 500 kWh a month.

I was also denied over 10 years ago because I am a (white) dork. I technically passed the states dress code but I didn't push it.

Second Di Genaro. They have alfajores de Maizena. If you find yourself to close to Alexandria one day, go to Tango Pastry.

Haven't been this year, have been in previous years. It's cool but not worth standing in that line for, you still have to pay for your drinks at the end of the night. I love The Jasper 11 months out of the year.

The line was fun. Cool people and you can have a drink while you wait.

Richmond Road Runners Club and Sportsbackers is a great resource for races specifically. If you’re looking for group runs, City Stadium Runners, One for the Road RVA and RVA Monthly Trail Run on Facebook are good places to start. There’s more groups depending on where you live, feel free to DM.

This happened to me when I first moved here at boulevard and broad. The walk sign on the crosswalk was broken and I went across anyways and got into a verbal altercation with a couple who almost hit me in the crosswalk. They ended up chasing me through the Exxon parking lot and tried to hit me a second time, then got out and tried to fight me. I’m literally scared to cross there now!!

Haha, I almost forgot about that one. Ironically enough, my SO's people have a place in White Stone and I admit to maybe saying a prayer or two whenever going over that thing. Beautiful vistas but you can't enjoy them!

You mean like a Nike logo check mark is good to go, but an Air Jordan logo is a no go?

Race and class tend tov serve the same interests, and so if it isn't one, it's often the other.
Rules are never 100% but a system doesn't need to be 100% effective to be the dominating force in our lives.

Ah, word, thanks. We were actually on our way to watch the final there. I went yesterday to pick up a bunch for today to watch the game with some friends. Then one of them and their baby had some virus so we couldn't hang. But the Empanada Market guy had said a bunch of Argentinians were coming to watch if there so we went instead of just sitting at home. It was cool.

I mean, your dog is a Jedi so you probably aren’t worried about lines anywhere. Us less fortunate have to wait in line sometimes.

Oh it is for sure getting worse. This week alone my plan to count to 2 before proceeding across boulevard probably saved at least an accident if not worse twice. My light was green and people were still flying through sort of thing. I'm just saying I'm not sure there should be 34 spots separating us.

It depends on your insulation, energy efficiency and usage. My 922 sqft condo ranges from $45-120/month for electric depending on the season. In my old 1000 sqft apartment, it was regularly $140-200ish. My water/sewer/trash are included in my HOA fees (and those are obscene for what the HOA provides), so I'm not exactly sure on that front.

Just drove by, and the line went to the end of the street. About 60 people or so.
My opinion only: learn to decorate your house or apartment for the season. It's not that hard or expensive - use the internet. Pick 2 to 3 cocktails, learn to make them well and call them something seasonal. Have your own little happy hour party. It will cost more than you and your partner and friends standing in line for 2 hours plus a cocktail but I guarantee you will be doing something that your friends will find much more fun.
