yeah but I almost got run over by a guy in a big truck speeding through the roundabout by Sub Rosa. I also almost got murdered by a guy in a big truck speeding through the roundabout by Pizza Bones.

Drove by there on Saturday night and could not believe how long the line was to get in there. People seriously have problems if they're willing to wait through that.

Lehja has good availability for the day after Christmas on OpenTable, it looks like. Maybe the Peter Chang in Scott's Addition?

Laura Lees and Lillie Pearl are open Mondays. Not fancy but fit the budget

You might try Stella’s, but because next Monday is the day after Christmas I think you may have a tough time getting in anywhere. I expect lots of families will be eating out that day and places are probably almost fully booked, especially given that most nicer restaurants aren’t usually open on Mondays anyway.

Unfortunately, neither of those places is open on Mondays unless something has changed.

Probably correct. But when the republican party has a history of calling elections stolen without any evidence to support the claim... it's suddenly become an important distinction between those who value democracy and those who want to dismantle it.

I remember heading to tiki bobs one day with friends for the 10 cent tacos/25 cent beers, then being turned away because one of our friends had cut off shorts.... trying to square the idea of not being dressed nice enough for 25 cent beers broke my brain.

I'm on RVA 5/6. The clearing you're talking about, is it across the street from craft parking on Portugee Rd? If so, that's actually QTS expansion. Meta hasn't really started clearing for 7/8 yet

The line is worth it if you get there early before it opens. We waited for about 45 minutes. I drank coffee in line and did some Christmas shopping from my phone, so not anything too different than what I would have been doing at home.

The cocktails weren’t all $15-$16, they were more in the $12-$14 range. They also had their normal beer/wine menu with cheaper options…

Yeah three of the transatlantic cables run through QTS there (seeRichmond Network Access Point.) From what I’m able to see on my daily drive they’ve almost cleared the construction start area for this new project. QTS isn’t as public but it seems as though they are matching Metas expansion unless the semiconductor factory is landing, lots of land is being cleared around them as well.

No, like a white dude wearing a Nike logo still gets in while they stop a black dude for having the same logo.

But am I incorrect in stating that conceding is not required by law? The winner is the person who wins the most votes per the law. So the act of conceding doesn't legally impact the election. Many candidates do not actually concede, particularly in small, local elections, mostly because no one is listening.
I'm not stating anything about if the candidate should concede, I'm just saying they aren't required to.

Just like... Take this warning. DO NOT RENT HISTORIC HOUSES IN RICHMOND. The reason? They are drafty as all hell, your bills in the winter will be astronomical and you will still be cold. Me and some friends rented a few, and every time, our electric bill was almost as high as the rent in the winter. Rent in an apartment or a newer home for reasonable utilities.

Oof that sucks. TBH I drive a big truck, but I drive it like what it is - it’s construction equipment. It’s big, cumbersome, and dangerous and should be respected by the driver. People who drive their trucks like they are in a sports car are assholes and idiots.
