The engineers have detailed plans to preserve the wetlands. They've been working on that behind RVA 5/6 for maybe six months now. With the busses running along that route all day long I'm sure they're going to control runoff 👍

I can't assure your house won't be out of power for long, but the generators cost about $1.5M a day to run, so I'm guessing it will be a priority to restore power as quickly as possible

That was the one I was speaking of, are they doing more over there? I see they also cleared the lot on technology/memorial, wasn’t sure what was going in on that site.

There’s another two entrances into the woods that were made a couple weeks ago further down the road toward Elko on the right that to my understanding is about where project tropical will be located. You’d probably know more from the grapevine around there

Oof this is such a tricky situation. Most vets will need the cat in some sort of carrier (must NOT be in a trap) which itself is really really hard. Then there’s also the issue of their staff does not want to risk whatever could happen to try to calm the cat- feral cats are feral- even the friendly ones. Honestly, feral cats are resilient. We’ve had one that was hit by a car and thought was a goner but she’s stronger than ever LOL. Best of luck…. Most vets won’t even treat a feral… worth a few calls around though

I've been this year. I was out with a couple girlfriends to see a show at Altria and headed over after. We waited about 20 minutes at 10:00 PM on a Thursday to get 3 seats at the bar. I love the holidays so I was super into it. It is decorated to the max and the seasonal drinks come in festive mugs/ glasses. I tried 3 of the drinks, I can't remember the name but they were all delicious. Is it worth a 2 hour wait? No. I don't think so, you can go to other places doing fun stuff for the holidays. But it was worth the 20 minute wait. BTW the staff is great. We had a great time chatting with our bartender who was super helpful and picking out drinks to try.

Commonwealth Timing organizes a couple races if you're looking for something smaller.

I'm also the race director for a charity run in Midlothian if you have questions.

Exactly. I'm not "anti-truck" per se, but you have to treat it with responsibility if you're going to be on city streets. One of those times I was in a car going through the roundabout; the guy just sped through without slowing down, let alone yielding. I honked and he flipped me off.

The other time I was crossing in the crosswalk. Again, the guy didn't slow down, and I had to jump away from him. I hit the car with my hand as I did and he turned to me and rolled his eyes and just kept going without slowing down. Hard for me to wrap my head around that level of callousness when I could've been killed.
