What if it's also reversed? People with worse cognitive function are more prone to concussions? ie. dumb people are more careless and get in to for example more fights. Would be plausable. It's not like they could do a double blind study.

I pity not those at the upper echelon of sports but all those who are at equal risk with modest to minimal income from enacting oneself to the sport without exorbitant salaries as evident in the top most leauges wherein the income is extremely rightly skewed.

I've had mine as an adult. 3 from bicycle accidents, 5 snowboarding, and one cleaning the house.
I've noticed it's getting more difficult to remember details about them all as I age.

Considering this is a coating that will eventually wear off I’m not sure I can fully agree with this statement.
“Our research is pushing in a different direction, where we actually solve the problem rather than putting a Band-Aid on the issue.”
I think actually solving the problem is one where our clothes are made out of things that aren’t harmful to the environment.
Not to say this isn’t very positive and reducing a problem vastly is great. But a coating that will wear off over years is pretty much a Band-Aid.
Does it not mean that your clothes become less environmentally friendly the longer you keep them?
But making your clothes last a long time is in itself, environmentally friendly.
Not quite solved when it’s like that.

Reply to Amazon's Least-Deforested Areas Are Due to Vital Role of Indigenous Peoples, Only 5% of Net Forest Loss Occurs in Indigenous Territories and Protected Areas Despite Containing 52% of the Total Forested Area by 9273629397759992
The title sounds a bit off. How many indigenous territories are not protected areas? Seems like there's so little deforestation because they're protected areas, not because they're indigenous territories, no?

Reply to comment by vote4boat in New study shows how mindfulness can benefit our romantic relationships: Mindfulness can help to enhance attachment security among romantic couples. The new findings deepen understanding of the longitudinal interplay between partners’ mindfulness and attachment style. by lolfuys
The best technique I read was from a book called Active Relaxation in which it describes mindfulness as plugging into your senses repeatedly and can be practiced while doing anything awake. For instance, if you're washing dishes feel the temperature of the water, watch how it cascades over what it's running over, smell the fragrance of the soap, feel the weight of your body on your feet as you're standing up, inspect the wavy colorful patterns in the soap bubbles, etc. If you're taking a walk, listen to the birds, leaves & gravel crunching under your feet, feel the sun hitting your face, notice how shadows are cast across an object or intently study the silhouette of objects and inspect the shapes as though you were going to try to draw what you're looking at.
By repeatedly doing this you are grounding yourself in the present moment and taking yourself away from the eternal thoughts that can consume people's lives. The more you do it, the easier it is to stay present and the more relaxed I have found I become. I definitely recommend Active Relaxation if you can find a copy

It's not a surprise. It's a clickable headline from a secondary source. The original article title is "Psychopathy among condemned capital murderers."

Like refering to your personal hatred for firearms when the discussion is about psychopathy among prisoners.
