That last one is new to me. I could see it giving you symptoms but I have a hard time imagining it actually gives you the disorder.

Edit: yeah it doesn't. I see it can cause mania and hypomania but doesn't seem to cause both alone. Apparently it's hit or miss helping with bipolar, which makes sense now.

Fast fashion is probably not going anywhere any time soon. Between carbon emissions and microplastics, we at least have a solution for the former. If we can continue transitioning to renewable energy, it won’t matter how much energy textile production uses. But plastic will still be taking up space in our landfills and water.

Now if only I could make people believe this who consistently wake me up when they know I've just gone to sleep, and get butthurt when I respond to nothing burgers aggressively.

"why are you so mad" "I just went to bed 2 hours ago after being up for 20 hours and I have to work again as soon as I wake up."

Maybe the lab techs shouldn't be drinking so much before going to work?

Jokes aside, I'm glad this is getting visibility. It's not even about the science, everyone knows alcohol is bad for the sperm, but it's a good social-policy comment, to remind people who are having trouble conceiving that you really do want to try your best to do everything "right" to reduce the physical, emotional, and fiscal cost of the ordeal.

I'll also add that those of you who think alcohol will work as birth control...yeah, that's definitely going to be fine.
