They eat an unprocessed diet rich in antioxidants. Carbs mainly from sweet potatoes and smaller portions of rice. Generally higher quantities of vegetables compared to the western diet. Small portions of meat. Tea and turmeric. Lower PUFA and lower total calories. My takeaway from their diet would definitely NOT be high carbs and low protein alone.

Finding a shared viewpoint as a point of departure during a conversation about anything is beneficial for joint exploration of positive thoughts and possible actions. Community and commonality are key.

The major ‘caveat’ here is that this is a post hoc analysis of a trial that was done to look at something else, and you have to consider that this was one aspect of many they looked at - hence, they findings are only hypothesis generating, and require confirmation.

Plain language summary:

A new study shows that current policies are not enough to phase out coal and reach net-zero emissions by 2050. The study suggests that additional strong policies such as carbon pricing and coal mining phase-outs are needed in order to achieve a global coal exit. It also shows that China has the opportunity to dominate the renewable energy market if it phases out coal soon, but if it doesn't, it could delay the renewable energy breakthrough worldwide. The scientists also find that the Powering Past Coal Alliance may lead to a rebound in coal use globally due to market effects, and that the greatest risk to the coal exit movement may be from free-riding sectors in member countries. Finally, the study suggests that the G20 phase-out of international public finance for coal projects may be able to provide some political momentum for the Alliance.

This could partially explain why exercise helps so much with depression:

"Exercise involves meditation, even though many may not realize it. Some call exercise “moving meditation” because it creates the same types of emotional and chemical changes in our brains that come from meditation."

Increased consumption of anything that makes you obese will be associated with disease risk. I mean obese people tend to eat more of everything as well. So do fit people, who are actually healthier. What are we supposed to take away from this ? That we should stop eating carbs ? Sounds like a bad idea to me.

I didn't reword anything, I just quoted the OP

>Natural birth is all birth.

Anyone with half a brain understands what is meant by natural birth in this context.

The article doesn't use the term "natural"

And if you were legitimately curious, the answer to what is the definition of outcomes could be answered by just reading the first two paragraphs of the abstract.

It's a hard concept that can't be fully explained without digging into the math. That's the problem with physics in general: The math IS the explanation. Just like how some phrases can't be translated from one language to another perfectly, math can't always be translated into words.

It doesn't help that people throw around "quantum teleportation" knowing full well what people think of when they hear "teleportation".

As consumers ? By not buying those products , elect people who care and let other people know about those issues without bothering them (as it could have the opposite effect).
