Because the diets of the participants were not analyzed, only a caloric deficit was tracked, and the results therefore can't be used to claim that sustained caloric restriction itself is a necessary predictor of better health outcomes. Someone eating an appropriate amount of calories from a good diet might have the same or better health than someone eating an unhealthy calorie restricted Western diet. In other words, it's not necessary to eat less calories than recommended to be healthy, calorie restriction is not practiced in areas known for health and longevity. There are various factors that go into good health and a long life that have been identified in blue zones but calorie restriction is not one of them.

For daily prophylactic use, it’s 81mg for all body weights (though the actual definition of low-dose aspirin is anything less than 100mg per day - 81mg is traditionally the dose for historical reasons).

I have a general allergy to most fruits in vegetable in different forms. Also constant pollen and dust allergy. Its probably a mild immune disease but if I could take a pill to just stop it I would try a banana or have a papaya salad

Damn, I feel for her. Luckily I'm ok to smell it and only have a minor reaction. And it's pretty easy to avoid as long as you take some basic precautions. Fish I can't even imagine. Not even sushi...

Because "more aspirin" doesn't thin the blood any more than a low dose.

After 81 mgs, you don't see any increase in the amount it thins the blood and higher doses over extended periods can be hard on the stomach and kidneys.

I know right? My spouse has a fish allergy. Not as immediately deadly as most peanut allergies but just from being near it she can still get swelling, irritation, and in extreme cases throat closing. She can't eat certain foods at many restaurants, cant eat at all at certain resteraunts, can't even go in some grocery stores or even walk down certain streets in bad areas. But we live in the Pacific Northwest so it's everywhere. Could we visit Japan? Probably not. Could we visit London? No idea. Fish and chips are popular there but I just don't know if its popular enough that you can smell it in the air.

Hopefully this kind of research continues to make breakthroughs for all allergies.
