I’m similar to you.

The effects of mmj make me feel horrible. There nothing enjoyable about the experience. Edibles give me a massive headache.

I’ve got severe ongoing pain which includes neuropathy.

Sympathetic nerve block in my spine has helped some. Perhaps you can look into something along that are of treatment?

As the authors noted, this can be seen in multiple species. In animal trials, caloric intake is often achieved by manipulating quantity of food, not type. This could suggest that energy would independently impact longevity, and that it's not simply a matter of eliminating highly processed foods. While animal studies are not the highest degree of evidence, they are often useful for determining mechanisms of action when confounding variables like this can be accounted for. This is not to say that diet quality does not also have an independent or synergistic effect on longevity, but it would point toward energy intake being a piece of the puzzle, at least.

As someone that’s currently on painkillers and smokes cannabis daily I can promise you that cannabis does not act as a painkiller in any way for me. there’s actually studies that show that it increases pain from chronic illnesses and when recovering from surgery. I believe that these conflicting studies are because of peoples different biological makeup, edibles don’t work on me at all so my personal experience may be different from other peoples.

"All 187 contacted patients participated in the study. Since the start of CbM therapy, 44.9% of patients reported to be much or very much, 43.3% to be moderately and 8.0% to be slightly improved overall. A total of 2.7% reported no change and 1.1% a moderate deterioration of overall wellbeing. From the patients' point of view, the symptoms most frequently reported to have substantially improved were sleep problems (36.4%), muscle tension (25.1%) and appetite problems (22.1%). The most frequent bothersome side effects were sweating (6.4%), concentration problems (4.2%) and nausea (4.1%)."

Glad to know I'm not alone in the sweating after using cannabis products.

Then those differences should be explicitly pointed out in the materials and methods as well as how they affect the results in the discussion.

There are a lot of proprietary soil mixes and nutrient/fertilizer regimes. Without this knowledge it is impossible for other groups to repeat this work. As such, the data has some use but is lacking enough detail to be less than definite.

Because in the marijuana world, outdoor vs indoor has a number of advantages and disadvantages. Indoor has become the most well known for high THC product whereas outdoor growers have always argued that they produce plants that are more rich in terpenes and cannabinoids. This study is proving outdoor growers correct (even though the marijuana industry already knows this). Furthermore, terpenes and cannabinoids are arguably more therapeutic than THC alone, and this is something scientists have been studying since the 70s (entourage effect).

Same question here. I heard one of the researchers state that one of these elephants “contained” 2500 daily meals. I guess you need to form a party to kill one, if there are 50 people they would have been able to feed themselves and 200 relatives for 10 days. As it’s stated in another study about Neanderthals cooking crab over fires, if you cook part of the meat, or if it’s cold enough, storing over 10 days seems possible.
