Or maybe they know that they aren't protecting people from COVID?
If we had Novavax access they would be lining up.

My apologies. When I read something like "I mean it mainly killed fat and old people so..." it seemingly implies you are okay with those deaths, or that they are of no consequence. I don't know how else I was supposed to understand that, but I am willing to accept that you did not mean what I thought you were heavily implying.

I’m kinda weird. I have a thing that if I like a song right away I eventually dislike it. Tho when I first hear a song that doesn’t appeal to me right away I often give it three more listens before I make a judgement; some of my all-time favorite music is in the second category.

I read about this on Reddit a while ago and I think it’s the saddest thing I’ve ever heard.

I have seizures that are well-controlled. It’s not the greatest thing but it’s also not the worst. I have an autistic son and I assume his disease will follow the same progression as mine. At least it’s less scary to me. Just wanted to offer you a bit of hope that life with a seizure disorder can be ok.

There have been environmental causes of Parkinson's. Generally from contamination (wrong synthesis) in synthetic street-drugs. I don't see why a different chemical couldn't lead to a mimic of Alzheimer's.

Came here to say the same. Most of my favorite music I wasn't sure about at first. So much, that I don't decide I don't like something until I've heard it at least three times.

So because they were old and fat, their deaths are okay? That's pretty fucked up.

Guess it's worth a try. Just gather up a bunch of plants, throw the kitchen sink at it, and see what works.
Odds are against it getting from this early cell-culture thing to an actual pharmaceutical. But if a lot of people are testing a lot of different substances, you never know... in the end you might end up with a useful medication.
At least they remembered to control for multiple comparisons.

One thing with a pet is they don’t judge you. And they will always love you no matter what. I can’t say that about most people.
