Oil drilling is a beast without regard for who is in charge. Developing alternatives is the realm of democratsZ

According to science if something is in sight but your brain is not consciously perceiving then it invisible is the correct term.
The people that are arguing against you probably have more knowledge about invisible super heroes then any sort of science.

Invisible is the correct scientific term and should be used.
Your "very" specific understanding of invisible is based of super hero's and television and not what it actually means in science.

Edit: The report says they're treating a cup as 100mg of caffeine from Italian espresso.
It's hard to find an authoritative source, but from googling it seems like a "standard cup" is indeed 8oz of coffee and it contains about 95mg of caffeine.

Seen by the eye but not perceived by your visual cortex.
Eg. A hunter can stand directly in view of an animal it is hunting and sometimes the animal's brain is unable to process what it is looking at and it will not react to the threat that is in plain sight.
So to the prey, the Hunter is "Invisible" according to Science because the visual input isn't being processed and not because the Hunter is Bending light and becoming see-through.

Source? I'm not saying it's not true but it's good to see a source. Most likely it dropped dramatically because the pandemic really slowed or halted production then limited it for quite a while. No point in pumping if you don't need it.

Oil drilling has doubled under Biden. He has done just enough to greenwash his administration, but doesn’t make a real impact in this regards.
Lots of other very important reasons to vote D, but not germane to this sub.

Invisible is to correct scientific term for an object that is seen and not perceived.
"Not perceptible by vision"
People trying to use what they think it means.
Probably related to Fantasy writing and super heroes and bending light and making things see-through and incorrectly arguing over pedantic details.
The Faces are Invisible and this is not a poor description.

More depressing is that a vast majority of Redditors are unwilling to make any sacrifices in order to fight climate change. They want the burden to be placed on some bogeyman.

Reply to comment by klousGT in Social mobility refers to movement of individuals from one socio-economic strata to another. I would argue that opportunity is the biggest factor, and most places in the world don't give you a lot of opportunities.
There are a ton of situations that you can have, just in the US, that can stop your social mobility and/or keep you in the poverty trap.
Not being able to afford school; not being able to afford to survive while you go to school; not being able to access the health care you need to maintain enough functioning to get into a higher paying field, learn a trade, or go to college; being in a situation where you feel that you need to take care of a sick relative or younger siblings because you've been raised to put yourself second for the needs/convenience of others; becoming a single parent too "early" for any possible reason...
Someone I know has their extended family paying $50k out of the $80k they need to go to their university every year, and the rest is covered by scholarships. They have OCD and generalized anxiety disorder, but they get the health care that they need to manage that. You may see how this person might have a lot more opportunities than most people to "get ahead", so to speak; and I think that a lot of people would be as or more successful than they are in the same position. They just don't get the same kind of support. Hell, even this person's sibling doesn't get remotely the same kind of support.
IMO this is where the government should come in, but obviously (at least, again, in the US) it doesn't. I know a whole bunch of motivated people who can't get ahead, and the reasons are almost always systemic. I also know some people who don't want to get ahead, so to speak, but they are few and far between and they're also my immediate family which is made up mostly of grifters.

Invisible is the correct term and just means "not perceptible by vision"
Your Amygdala is perceiving the "fear" and aware of the visual stimulus even if your conscious is not aware.

People cannot tell and are often wrong when they have that gut feeling for no reason.
In This study there is a visible stimulus that triggers the fear and not Magic.

This right there is what the vast majority of vaccine skeptics didn't understand. Literally nobody said the vaccine would 100% guarantee your health, but vaccine skeptics don't understand that it isn't binary, just like you said.
Everything is risk management to some degree.
