It's a bit more than that. Drinking the juice of an orange would be free sugar, but eating the orange whole would not. I'm not a nutritionists or anything, but my understanding is the foods not counted as free sugar typically have the sugar bound up in a bunch of other stuff, so it takes longer to digest.

So true. It’s criminal the damage done in not adopting this miracle plant for so many of our uses. It was a gift, squandered at great and existential expense.

Oils, food, medicine, benign stimulant, clothing material, papers, etc. etc. and did governments ever sleep on this magic/miracle plant, as they allowed decades of clear cutting entire old growth regions, subsidized fossil fools and so much more. What a crime it was merely to enable robber barons and the status quo to maintain monopolies at great expense to our future…about time they adopted hemp for many replacement resources.

If the water rises slow enough, we might get lucky and find lots of it falling on land and recharging aquifers, which would reduce the amount in the ocean and contributing to the rise. Not by much though

Legalization was a migraine game changer for me. THC works for me instead of CBD, I notice no impairment signs if usingnTHC to hole having a migraine, guess it's being used up by my body. I could be entirely wrong, please someone correct me, but have been told THC works better as it's a vasodilator instead of the anti-inflammatory effect of CBD

I had a similar experience with a gaming buddy. We both didn’t realize it until will took a video of us playing. It was uncanny how we moved together even when we couldn’t see each other.

My company does too. If you have your medical Marijuana card, as I do, they can't really contest it. (Tho I've heard it's dependent on company policy, but I've been forthcomin' at every hirin' process & never had issues)

I believe it's deliberate. Notice how 85% of food products have sugar in them. Watch Dr. Robert Lustigs videos.

Thank god my company drug tests, otherwise I’d be able to find a cheap alternative to the myriad of migraine meds I’ve tried.

Imagine the advances we might’ve had if we didn’t just waste 100 years being lied to and restricted from access.

Honestly explains a lot of cultural attitudes. I’m from an island where it’s very normal to live to your 90s and beyond. Being an island, external food is expensive so we tend to eat lots of rice and beans, plantains, tubers, and fish.
I get really weirded out and sad when American Redditors argue with me that anything past retirement age is old, out of touch, and bordering on senile. It seems very ageist to me seeing as how I know plenty of people over 67 who are healthy and sharp as tacks. It’s incredibly disrespectful in my culture.
Treating someone who is barely 70 as knocking on death’s door makes a lot more sense to me now if their diet is full of high fructose and it’s accelerating AD symptoms.
