I believe in a model similar to panpsychism. This makes sense to me as any system you entangle yourself within will have an effect on your will. If you are using a tool your brain will similarly behave differently due to the difference in machine that you then are. The complexity within our brains are like an engine of entropy and from its chaos arises a denser form of consciousness then that of smaller systems of energy exchange. People really like to assume their subconscious is just a different part of themselves, but instead it is all things that have a play in the decisions we make from our individual cells to gravitational pulls to zeta distributions in relative frequency of occurrence regarding anything that has ever happened.

ADHD is a neurological disorder that is present at birth. The cause isn’t external, it’s genetic. The American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders have compiled guidelines for diagnosing adults with ADHD. Not because it starts in adulthood, but because they weren’t diagnosed as children. By the time an undiagnosed ADHD child reaches adulthood, they’ve created coping mechanisms (that don’t usually work long term) that makes the test given for children obsolete.

Super disingenuous headline. They predict national prices will fall 5%, while the worst / most affected market, Phoenix, will fall 18%.

> A new model of forecasting home prices based on consumer demand predicts that prices for housing will decrease by 5% nationally and 12% in San Diego County by the end of this year. The model, which highlights online search activity, was recently published in a new study from the University of California San Diego’s Rady School of Management.

> But home prices in other cities are expected to fall even more. Phoenix, AZ, is predicted to have the biggest drop at 18%. Other metropolitan areas where prices are predicted to be on the decline include Stockton-Lodi, CA (down 13%), Las Vegas, NV (down 13%), followed by San Diego and Tucson, AZ. The cities with the most price stability include the metropolitan area of Scranton-Wilkes-Barre-Hazleton, PA and Kansas City, MO both predicted to rise by 2%. Other cities with forecasts of stable prices include Hartford, CT, Harrisburg, PA and Omaha, NE.

One city has this 18% drop, and the title doesn’t accurately state that. Crummy journalism by Eurekalert on this one.

You can get a nylon paint strainer bag from the hardware store, and it works really well for straining homemade yogurt. You can get a cottage cheese like density and it is really good with fresh fruit. I use a gallon of milk and get about a half gallon of yogurt cheese out of it, and it keep for weeks in my experience.

Electrolytes? Yes. Sugars? No. You are better off drinking pickle juice than any "electrolyte" drink. Gatorade, PowerAde, etc. are all full of free sugars. On both of my century rides (100 mile rides) I drank electrolytes in water and ate salty foods (ham and cheese). I did not need sugars to complete either of them.
