That is really an interesting idea. Being an anchorite would have given you food, protection, shelter and a bit of standing in the community.

Believing in God or yearning to connect to something deeper is one thing. But it’s how we frame these urges that can lead to misguidedness.
If we keep an open mind, that’s one thing. But if we plant belief flags into our version of the ‘truth’, that’s when the concept of ‘being right’ starts to capsize.

“Likely”? Doesn’t sound like a convincing conclusion.

Yeah or maybe binary neutron stars surrendered to gravity. Nah, your idea that aliens captured a couple stars and blew it up seem much more plausible.

Agreed. Most people with ASD need support systems and accommodations, not medications.

Reply to comment by Tight-Caterpillar-25 in Psychedelics activate the same receptors as serotonin, so why aren't we always tripping? Psychedelics may cause neuronal plasticity and relieve depression by activating intracellular serotonin receptors that serotonin itself cannot, suggests a new study. by rjmsci
Serotonin releasing agents are not psychedelic hallucinogens, and hallucinations that might occur during serotonin syndrome are most likely true hallucinations, not psychedelic hallucinations.

Me too. Except for one pesky symptom. I didn’t see an effect until ramping up the dose though. I take Apolactoferrin which as I understand prevents the concern of high iron levels.

It would be nicer if it could pave the way to hindering depression, but I guess we all have different incentives..

But wasn't there a recent study that showed SSRIs are no more effective than placebo?

For what it’s worth, I was put on Remeron for general anxiety. Apparently it’s a bit different from regular antidepressants/anti anxiety and rarely has side effects.
My memory is 50x what it was before. I can glance at a piece of junk mail that mentions a class action lawsuit hearing that’s on October 5th and to call or email before August 8th to be considered part of the suit.
It’s pretty bizarre.
