Also mates are generally much more scarce than food (especially for non-carnivores). If a mouse was to pass at a chance to mate in order to eat who knows when it would have a chance to mate again, but if a mouse were to pass at a chance to eat in order to mate it is very likely that it would be able to find some food soon after.

Definitely had a few bad trips but even the bad trips leave lasting positive impacts, maybe even more so than the smooth ones. I’ve definitely had mushroom trips that were basically just hours of sobbing as I dealt with loss and grief and it’s like pulling a splinter out of your brain.

The article says they had 89 test subjects for analysis, and that 80 of them saw improvement to symptoms 1 week after treatment. No claim is made for future prevention, but the findings show further reduction of pain AND reduced instances bleeding after bowel movements over the course of a one month treatment.

So id say treatment.

Prevention may be possible with this method, but it is not explored in the scope of the study.
