I would NOT want an "Artificial Companion robot"
I might want a useful assistant

What an insanely bizarre bit of “social science.” This research obviously did not include a robot-forward thinking society like Japan, haha. They’re literally already using robot companions for elderly care and companionship.
Also the first and second questions have wildly different meanings and are barely even related. Who on earth is suggesting we lie to old people that their robots are human? I don’t think people like being lied to about most things, why would they be comfortable being robo-catfished?
Artificial companion robots can be robo-dog, cat, BB8 droid, baby Yoda, literally unlimited non-human options.

Reply to A more mystical and insightful psychedelic drug experience may be linked to an enduring reduction in anxiety and depression symptoms, according to new research. The study is the first to characterize subtypes of the subjective psychedelic experience and link them to mental health outcomes. by memorialmonorail
I would love to see a detailed comparative study of mystical experiences through meditation vs through psychedelic drugs (and comparing each drug) for patients suffering from depression and anxiety - by age, sex, background (trauma vs non), and so on.
We could probably also further divide by combination of sound/aroma therapy - and help from a psychologist post trip to integrate the experience.
What actually helps, how much, and how does that differ person to person?

I wonder if it works similarly to nitroglycerin, which is the primary topical currently.

Reply to comment by PerformanceNow in Brain changes in fighter pilots may cast light on astronauts during space travel: Study finds that pilots show ley changes in brain connectivity and they may function as suitable test subjects to learn more about space travel. by DreamingForYouAlways
I'm guessing from the extract that the brain changes are inferred to be a result of the pilots' spatial orientation & navigation demands; in which case, the study offers some interesting insights into adaptive brain development, but little useful info on the environmental effects of space (prolonged zero-g and radiation, etc.) on brain tissues.

For those worried about medical logistics and claims: somehow I don't predict the public health data will show a dramatic decline in those seeking prescriptions for lower back pain, corresponding with a dramatic rise in new complaints of chronic assbleeds.
