Reply to Researchers have found that a Parkinson’s-linked mutation in a gene called Endophilin A1 blocks the process by which the body and the brain recycle cell waste. Without the process, autophagy, toxic debris builds up and neurons die. This discovery could change the focus of Parkinson's treatments. by QldBrainInst

I think the 99 days was just to provide the same amount of time for comparison between the monovalent and bivalent cohorts

Ah crap you’re totally right, I got them mixed up. I guess I’ll blame it on Alzheimer’s, if only fake research had cured it by now.

And banging on a full stomach leads to bloating, burps, farts, and cramps. It’s better to go in ravenous and then celebrate with a big meal and a nap after. These mice know what’s up.

Could periodic fasting (which induces autophagy) maybe help slow the onset of Parkinsons?

Sleep, diet and exercise.
Linking into this study, when you sleep you brain removes waste products. Exercise increases blood flow, also removing waste products. So that might partly be the mechanism for how they help.

they cut off their regression 99 days post vaccination, i dont think they say why other than vsccine effects "wane with time"
they also were not powered to look at moderate or mild symptoms due to confounders.
"Bivalent boosters provided substantial additional protection against severe omicron infection in persons who had previously been vaccinated or boosted, although the effectiveness waned over time. The effectiveness of bivalent boosters was higher than that of monovalent boosters."

26 species saved from extinction is certainly a victory worth celebrating even if they do need continuing support to survive..
