What do you think protective footwear entails? It certainly isn’t sneakers as you stated above.

Could be both or either. Caffeine withdrawal feels more painful in the crown area, bit different from right side migraines imo

Can you explain what you think I misinterpreted?

That’s a lot like my experience. Keto knocked migraines down by 75%. Largely I think as just a correlation to fresh baked carbs being a major trigger. Which also contributed to ibs. There’s just something wrong w American farm goods. Luckily also found a great effective med for migraines Nurtec.

A hundred times this
People don't realize that nearly a quarter of jobs in the US require occupational licenses (thank god, it's finally going down after decades of increases) because states have been progressively increasing the number of jobs that require licensure.

I work in an industry that also uses pallet jacks, and we require foot protection because we don't want broken toes, regardless of how infrequent.

Yea, the current method of reciprocity is kind of ridiculous IMO. How it should work — if you hold a license in one state that shares reciprocity with another, the original license kept current should be all that is needed. I.e. you have a MD license which shares reciprocity with VA, so you can work in either state with a current MD license.
That or the obvious national licensing option, but that is likely a pipe dream unfortunately.

On the phone and via mail, twice. After the first denial, I appealed, they denied me again.
Apparently there are 13 requirements you must meet in order to have a hernia covered by worker's comp in this state. Two of which I did not meet. I did not have immediate pain related to the hernia, I actually worked, never missing a day, for 9 months, due to a lot factors.. The other requirement was missing work, which I did not do, due to the hernia, only because of the surgery and recovery. Which apparently doesn't count.
I failed to meet their requirements.

A quick google revealed the following professions require licensure (at least in some states):
Flower arranger, gas pumper (NJ), hair braider, travel guide, interior designer, aircraft fueler (HA! Just kidding. No license or certification required to refuel your airliner. I did that job while in college.),

Lift drivers don't use the brakes. They slap it in the opposite direction and never let off the gas.

You can judge things by vibes, or you can judge things by evidence. The evidence doesn't indicate an improvement in safety or quality from licensing

The insurer who says they don't cover work related injuries, is their short term disability coverage.

I’m a civil engineer who lives on a tristate border. I hold a license in all three states. But, it’s done through reciprocity. I apply though the state board, but all the requirement stuff is held by a separate board that confirms to the new state that I meet all the requirements. It’s not too obnoxious, the bad part is keeping track of the renewal dates for all three.
Excerpt California, they have 2 additional tests you have to pass to get their license.

If your job offers short term disability insurance see how much it costs to add it used to be fairly cheap compared to the 65% they pay out if something happens and you can't work.
Maybe HR already advised you of this but even more sorry if they haven't offered you this option when it was available.

To me even if I was told it was AI beforehand I feel like having something to talk to that can't reciprocate would help comfort me, like talking to a pet.
However if I thought they were an actual human and I shared things about myself and formed a bond with them only to find out they are an AI would make me feel much worse. This is of course anecdotal, though.
