"Safety-toe footwear are shoes which have a steel toe cap underneath the leather toe cap and protect the wearer's toe from moving or falling objects. Safety-toe footwear needs to comply with the requirements and specifications of the latest version of ASTM F2413. Examples of work which require safety-toe footwear are: warehouse operations; moving operations involving heavy equipment; work involving close contact with large animals; and jobs requiring work with certain chemicals."
It specifies Warehouse operations needing Safety-Toe footwear, which is a steel toe cap footwear.

I had always thought the ECS was only present in vertebrates?

A family member got hurt at a grocery warehouse and was hurt within the first 12 months of work so he couldn’t get time off. He had to see doctors for his back and spine, wore a brace, had all the notes and dates. They fired him an refused to pay because he somehow wasn’t a full employee yet. He wasn’t sure he would win a case and didn’t have much to hire an attorney and get into any lengthy legal battle

Reply to comment by dudinax in The Role of Insulin Signaling in Hippocampal-Related Diseases: A Focus on Alzheimer’s Disease by faiththeillustrious
I figure there are multiple ways to Alzheimer, but similarities to each one can help narrow down to one or few true causes. Maybe it isn't insulin itself, but whatever cell/system in the body insulin reacts to that causes Alzheimers. Or maybe a combination of insulin and other drugs/nutrients/etc that triggers some effect. Feels like a job for deep learning ai to find.
Also, some leads might not even be true leads after all.

Well weed IS a flower. Apparently bees love cannabis because the pollen is super sweet

I think that too sometimes. Some laypeople and students tend to want to diagnose and classify everyone around them (oftentimes with the wrong labels and because they don't understand or like the person) and some trained professionals also like to pigeonhole people without attempting to really get to know them or understand them as well (many "mental health" professionals don't belong in the profession at all). Sometimes personality disorder labels = societal persecution and rejection vs someone getting the help they need especially those labelled as having cluster B traits.

Yes, I'm using "pizza delivery driver" as a general example. You should be seeing that taxi and delivery drivers are being murdered 4x more frequently than cops, yes?

Sorry you're going through all of that; it must be challenging. I think it is fortunate that our society has greater awareness of these things now (though of course it'd a double-edged-sword - with increased opportunities for misunderstandings also...)
