This is by no means a miracle drug. I was on it for several years for Migraines. It was not worth the brain fog, low energy and actually affected my performance at work worse that migraines themselves. Anyone who wants to use this needs to seriously consider side effects first.
It literally interrupts the synapses in your brain!
ETA: is also made my nose and fingers buzz constantly like they were asleep.

The original premise of the matrix was for people to be used as CPUs, but they worried the audience wouldn't understand and switched it to batteries.

Thank the GODS OF PROFIT that this is years away.. the medical industry as a whole is already suffering financially.

They will need to make this device ULTRA expensive to make up for the lost revenu.

What was Theranos' bioengineering concept?

Topiramate did absolutely nothing for me.

There are a number of circulating tumour DNA liquid biopsies available today, the most publicised is probably from Grail Therapeutics, but there are a few others such as the Cancer Research UK backed Inivata.

Pretty sure if a supernova went off at half-the-distance-to-the-Sun, no one would notice…
Cuz we’d all be obliterated.

From my understanding of physics we should now be able to create arc reactors that can power a humanized mech suit indefinitely with a single one time charge.

If this makes cervical biopsies for women less horrific that'd be great. I still can't believe we have to get those without any anesthetic. "Just a little pinch" my lilly white ass.

Thank you, I like that mantra and will certainly use it. I take it one day at a time, and it’s working for me so far.

That just sounds like another proof of concept paper. I don't see anything in your link about a product currently on the market or even when it might be.

Just do today what you did yesterday, and you'll stay sober today. And if you can stay sober today, you can do it again tomorrow. I found that mantra was helpful to me when I was struggling to quit drinking, thought I'd offer it in case it helps you too. It does get easier with time, I promise.

The concept of blood testing in general is plenty viable.
Theranos’ concept specifically as a bioengineering concept was actually not at all viable.
Every single person that looked at the product that they were peddling was saying “well, even in theory this isn’t possible to do”.

Reply to A cougar was observed swimming 1.1 km (0.68 miles) to an uninhabited island in Pugent Sound. Researchers find other records implying mountain lions can swim even farther to hop between islands, likely >2 km. “We are redefining the mountain lion in our minds as an animal that can swim.” by TR_54
Sometimes I feel like people just need to go outside more. I don't understand how anyone would study cougars without realizing that they swim, and sometimes pointlessly, for fun. The very first time i ever saw one in the wild, as a child, it was swimming the Siuslaw river clean across in late spring (river is huge, swolen, and rapid). Thereafter I've seen them swimming in Colorado, California, Oregon, and Arizona. Sometimes I feel like these biologists just aren't hikers.
They probably think foxes don't climb and that bears are anti-social and old crap like that.

I don't know how you made it 6 months. I took it for about two weeks before I decided I'd prefer the migraines. It's the kind of tired you feel when you haven't slept in three months. Misery.

My son has a rare form of epilepsy. This horrible drug multiplied the amount of seizures he was having by 10, no exaggeration. Other people in the support group for this syndrome had the same experience.
