It's not actually about the walking. It's about the neighborhood characteristics. There is a lot of nuance to this.

Was this not well known? I learned this in junior high ("the United States went into the Civil War a plural and came out a singular"). It was an intentional process that was understood at the time.

well, if their profits were 3% of whatever amount they spent, then the inflation hits and now its 3% of the new inflation amount, then of course the "profits" would naturally be higher.
