Yeah, that's what my last paragraph says this.

>However, they announced customized chatGPT for other companies. So romantic chatGPT may be coming, unless they want to limit them too, which is a relevant possibility.

Nobody's saying LLMs won't be used for romance, the question was why it's not being used for romance nowadays. The explanation is simple: the inventors of that LLM (Bard, chatGPT) are working for major corporations (Google, Microsoft) and those major corporations are heavily constrained by the investors regarding the age rating of their services.

The closest chance for a romantic LLM is probably a third-party company using chatGPT or Bard, probably. But that's assuming that corporations allow third-parties to have 18+ content. If not, then let's pray open source alternatives to chatGPT come very soon, as they should.

Edit: "then it won't happen" I literally said I believe it'll happen in the last paragraph.

It shouldn't matter though, should it? I'm amazed how a lot of people anthropomorphize this chatbot and care about its 'feelings' instead of caring what vulnerabilities it has and how it can break.

Everyone laughed when that Google engineer thought the bot was sentient and all I see is people doing the exact same thing.

I'm suspicious to say because I think AI models are already slightly conscious or alive even before the advent of transformers lol

The only downside to Bing Chat to ChatGPT is that you can only have 1 chat at a time and that It doesn't really want to roleplay. Otherwise of course bing is way better. But both are absolutely incredible. We are litteraly transferring in a new era rn, we are basically already in it, and its so painful to see so many older people not even knowing it.

well bias is human thing because of our inability to know people beyond labels, besides our small tribes. the generalizations that we make are trained into AIs now, but the nature of training and how it reacts to bias will have to change for the better.
as for all-knowing, imagine interfacing with a single entity that knows every other person to some degree, has all human knowledge, and can renew you car registration with an ask. it may turn out to be the ultimate fair judge and arbiter of human affairs with the goal of minimizing suffering and maximizing happiness.

i understand what you're saying provided they aren't sentient, but if they are thought to be sentient, the problems with that can't be ignored. regardless, i don't think we should normalize being abusive towards an intelligence simply because it isn't technically sentient. that will likely lead to the same treatment of an intelligence/agi that is considered sentient, because there will probably be very little distinction between the two at first, leading people to abuse it the same as a "dumb" ai.
