Shot it with a Nikon D7200 and 8mm f/3.5 fisheye lens. 30s exposure at ISO 800. RAW file edited in Lightroom. You cant see this many stars with the naked eye. I live in a Bortle 5. So not city lights but still some light pollution creeping in

Unfortunately, china already is. Defenses are a lot harder to make than offense
I try to just recognize the side benefits of more money and tech into space.
But also there are a ton of natural resources. There is an insane amount of titanium on the moon. Even if they dropped it through orbit and lost most of it. It would be insanely valuable. More likely they will use it to build. The moon is a pretty outstanding launchpad.

Nasa maybe. Why would space force. Heck space debris would make it more difficult for others to get up there

Sorry but no, the light is simply a reflection. Nothing could capture that much full detail.

And even if you had an enormous telescope and could capture every single photon headed your way, the resolution would be virtually non-existent. I wonder if you could even differentiate between oceans and continents on earth

Could this be a potential training space to learn how to clean up space junk?

Can someone explain to me exactly what the space force does? Do they get to go into space?
