Given how bright it is, at a distance of 93 MILLION miles...I believe it.

At the height where the pressure is equal to that of Earth's atmosphere, the temperature is 180 Kelvin...meaning -93 Celsius. So pretty chilly.

Good to know. Here I was thinking Jupiter was habitable.

You can’t imagine it. The Db would be so higher your ears would explode… so would your whole body.

Looks like they will eventually become non-binary.

I don't know if they should even bother at this point - provided that the unlatched solar panel doesn't create any problems going forward. At some point trying to fix it might be more risky than leaving it alone.

Believe it or not that's a thing - they tried that (among many, many other things) to try and deploy the high gain antenna on the Galileo probe. It all failed.

Your eardrums would just get instantly crushed. Probably your head, too.
Even with a spacesuit on.

Interestingly you can hear stuff on the moon. Well, your footsteps and that's about it (sound needs a medium to travel through to your eardrums and, well, your body is a pretty good medium for that).

I super agree! I learned how to see magic eye and stereographs before learning to read, so it's become second nature. I'd always merge similar houses and fences, I loved seeing the differences like that

I feel like it would be deafening and let’s just use some suspension of disbelief: imagine you’re in a big house of some sorts on Jupiter. It would probably sound like a literal apocalypse outside 😩
Edit: spelling
