I wouldn’t say “science disproves itself” because at its very core, science is a method of testing ideas. The method is sound and fruitful. It teaches us new things every time we use it correctly. What it disproves are human misconceptions.

We know for certain a planet can harbor life. And there are endless amounts of planets so you can use big brain time to figure it out on your own.

The first step of science is admitting we don't know something.
The second step is committing themselves to finding the answer.
Science is not knowing answers.
Science is processes for finding answers.

I thought they estimated it was around 1 with 42 zeros after? And yes there was time when life may not have been able to form but let’s just say even 25% of the time it’s been habitable. That’s over 4 billions years. 4 billion. That’s a shit load of years in a whole lot of places that have had life.

I like K's quote from MIB 1 when he's talking to agent J about the big and small picture. "Fifteen hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow. "

And yet provides more than 50% of the value of all the other satellites by actually providing a sweet high speed internet service. Hard for me to hate on it when it's literally the only way I can be online

Hang an old TV antenna from it for authenticity.

I'll make sure to get a balloon in the next one. I'll fill a party balloon with helium and hope it transits as the same time as the station!
Will that suffice?

I like this. Ty. Realizing we don’t know anything is the start for imagination to take over. Science, then follows.
